Some say David Huey developed his sharp wit and knack for visual design early in his career as an assistant cameraman at a special effects house. There, he helped bake life into the Pillsbury Doughboy and poured the soul into Mrs. Butterworth. Others believe his sense of humor stems from his work on PEE-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE after spending a season with wacky puppets, people and of course Pee-wee Herman.

Sixteen years and more than a thousand commercials later, David has gone on to successfully shoot everything from cereals to cars. Whether it is a carnival of animals for PETCO or a young-at-heart photographer for KAISER PERMANENTE, David's work demonstrates the pride he takes in every project.

Despite his unpretentious personality, he has earned a reputation for making Hollywood icons look their best. David's eye for beauty was apparent when he framed the faces of over 100 celebrities for HBO including Elizabeth Taylor, Whoopi Goldberg, and Elle MacPherson.

David knows no two spots are ever the same. That is why he approaches every commercial like a mini feature film, bringing an open mind and a creative spirit.
